Watercolor Practice Iby ~vhiei

Traditional Art / Paintings / Landscapes & Scenery

I am currently taking an art class in Taiwan.

Every Saturday I'll spend around 3 hours painting watercolor, and every Monday I'll be doing sketches - supposedly making very surrealistic sketches from realistic photo references... we'll see how I do with that (my teacher: my hope is that you will use your creativity to wrap a mundane or a traditional object with a new look." Me<thinking>:"what creativity?").

Time: three hours
Medium: watercolor (transparent!! love the effect), my teacher's very good paper, three huge watercolor brushes that are as long as my arm, and a big brush.

Photo taken with my digital camera. Slight color adjustments and cropping applied using Photoshop.
